After discussing your personal aesthetic goals and determining a treatment plan, Linda will administer small injections into targeted areas to reduce fine lines and wrinkles. The injections typically take about 5-10 minutes, with minimal discomfort. Easy peasy!
WHAT TO DO AFTER YOUR DYSPORT APPOINTMENT
There is no downtime, so you can resume normal activities immediately after. Avoid rubbing the treated area and try to stay upright for a few hours to ensure optimal results. It's also recommended to avoid strenuous exercise and alcohol for 24 hours.

To maintain your Dysport results, patients typically need treatments every 3-5 months as the effects gradually wear off. Regular maintenance sessions help keep fine lines and wrinkles at bay, ensuring a consistently smooth and youthful appearance.
Dysport is a prescription injection for temporary improvement in the look of moderate to severe frown lines (those wrinkles between the eyebrows), crow's feet and forehead lines in adults less than 65 years of age.
Medically, it’s a botulinum neurotoxin (abobotulinumtoxinA), an acetylcholine release inhibitor and a neuromuscular blocking agent. It temporarily prevents specific muscle movements that cause frown lines.Although office visits can vary, the procedure generally takes 10 to 20 minutes. There is little to no downtime.
Though results vary, changes can be seen in as little as 24 hours, with over half of users seeing improvement in moderate to severe frown lines between the brows within 2-3 days.

The most common possible side effects are nose and throat irritation, headache, injection site pain, injection site skin reaction, upper respiratory tract infection, eyelid swelling, eyelid drooping, sinus inflammation, and nausea.
Dysport and Botox are both made from botulinum toxin type A. All botulinum toxins have the same mechanism of action: blocking the release of acetylcholine (ACh) and preventing the muscles from contracting to maintain the aesthetic effect. However, the dose of Dysport is not the same as the dose of any other botulinum toxin product and cannot be compared to the dosage of any other botulinum toxin product that you may have previously used.
